Once again Nitron backing new technology has prevailed. ARC EV’s last race of the 2011 season ended on a high this weekend they were named as the TTXGP European Champions – TTX75 Class

Nitron has supplied a Suzuki RGV250 Race NTBKS19R to the first electric bike to compete in the UK against conventional petrol cycles trough Arc Ev Engineering.
Arc Ev Engineering went to Snetterton and the BEMSEE races which were 6 and 8 laps long, starting from the back of the grid Richie ‘Suzuki Rider’ set a good pace and worked his way up to 21st place, beating a number of 400cc bikes. The bike was performing brilliantly and the gathered crowd were enjoying the sight of something different circulating the race track.

Nitron has sponsored Jimmy White - Team Jerusalem in his VX220 suspension kit NTCVA010_RP1.
Tim Attack Round 6 at Anglesey on the weekend was a great success for Team Jerusalem they gained maximum points with a double 1’st place putting them in 1’st in class in the championship standings with a 12 point lead when they go into the final round at Snetterton in September (25th).

Marc McCullough Race Results:
Mid Antrim 150 - qualified 8th on the grid (newcomer to the circuit!) the race was cancelled due to an oil spill on the track.
Dundrod 150 National (600cc) - qualified 9th out of 43 riders on the grid, finished 6th in the race, a phenomenal result on a standard Yamaha R6.
Dundrod 150 Challenge (250 - 1000cc) - qualified 23rd out of 67 riders on the grid. Due to severe weather the race didn't run.

Nitron's Second Win within a Week

Team Suzuki GB rider Dan Thornhill, has been crowned the Senior class winner at the BSMA finals at the weekend, held at Little Silver, near Exeter.
Following last weekends success aboard the Suzuki RM-Z250 machine, things were slightly different this weekend with Thornhill contesting the final round on the two-stroke RM125. With the Senior class heavily dominated by 250cc four-strokes, and little time to adjust to the different power delivery from the RM125, Thornhill would fight hard following mid pack starts, pushing through to convincingly take a hat-trick of wins on the Saturday.
Sunday and again a mid pack start in the first race of the day, before taking the lead and pulling ahead to take the win. With a bike set-up change for the final moto, Thornhill took the holeshot and confidently lead the race to take the win, the overall and the championship title.

Nitron win MXY2 British Masters in their first year!

Team Suzuki GB rider Dan Thornhill took the British Masters MXY2 championship title at the weekend, as the penultimate round of the series visited Hawkstone Park near Shrewsbury.
Starting the weekend off well with a second position in qualifying, ensuring a great gate pick, Thornhill made full use of it to get out of the gate in second in the first race, before quickly moving up and into the lead, pulling a 30-second margin to take the win. Third off the start in race two, and a battle to move up into second, Thornhill then set about chasing down the leader, before suffering a small fall while attempting to pass a backmarker, remounting to take third at the flag.
Taking that elusive holeshot in the third moto, Thornhill held position throughout a hard fought battle to clinch victory. With the overall championship victory in sight, the RM-Z250 rode a smart final race finishing in second, taking the overall win, but crucially taking enough points to claim the 2011 title.

Milton Park Win!

Round five of the British Masters championship held at the Northamptonshire based circuit Milton Park, enabled Team Suzuki GB rider Dan Thornhill to extend his MXY2 championship lead.
Qualifying started well with a pole position, which was quickly replicated in race one taking the holeshot and then the race win. Race two looked to be a repeat performance taking the holeshot, until a slight spill on lap two saw the youngster under pressure, but fighting hard Thornhill broke away from the pack to take another race win.
