SUSPENSION ANALYSIS

Nitron can undertake a full analysis of your vehicle's suspension, from precise measurement on the car to plotting of nodes to output of key performance criteria. Nitron have experience with all types of suspension layout, including double wishbone, MacPherson strut, trailing arm, semi-trailing arm, push rod and pull rod damper actuation, 'A' frame and 'H' frame.

Kinematic results include:

- Camber angle
- Castor angle
- Castor trail
- Toe
- Kingpin angle
- Roll centre position
- Roll stiffness
- Damper ratio
- Spring ratio
- Track change
- Wheelbase change
- Tyre scrub
- Scrub radius
- % Anti squat
- % Anti dive
- % Ackermann

The effects of each can be viewed 'live' as the node points are toggled.

A whole raft of variables can be incorporated into the analysis, from point tolerances to bush stiffness properties, plus the influence of external forces that may effect overall compliance.

Nitron use their own design experience along with the software optimisers to calculate the best geometry for each application. Nitron can compile a comprehensive report if desired.
